A change in plans

Exactly one week after Joey’s vasectomy, we discovered that there will be a third.  I had been feeling quite tired and not myself and decided to rule out pregnancy by taking a test.  I was shocked to discover TWO lines when I was expecting to see only one.  I showed it to Joey and he just chalked it up to the cheap test from the dollar store.  Then, he went and watched the Jazz game.  I think he was in denile.  He continued to be in denile over the weekend, and he even “laughed” about it.  I was worried.   I took two additional tests just to “prove” it to him.  He has now accepted it and spilled the beans to his family.  He wouldn’t admit it, but I think he’s kind of excited.  Just regretful about the vasectomy thing.  I feel bad about that too.  I’m also sad that I just sold or gave away all of the baby items that I had….except for the crib.  Oh well.

To make room for our new addition, we are planning to sell our house and move to a bigger one.  We will miss the pool, but I’m on the look out for a garage and a walk in closet this time around.

Well, I have to say that I’m excited, you can borrow some of my baby stuff that I have left (until we have one.) And since Joey called me, every time I think about it I chuckle a little. So it brightened my boring day at work today:)

Congrats!!!! You know baby number three is always a surprise for most people (lol) and I have to say I am thrilled!!!! I was SO sad to hear about the “V” Heavenly Father has a greta sense of humor and his ways are not always ours!! I say that because I had my tubes tied after Kiara and then we had some pretty awesome exsperiences letting us know there was another baby waiting to come into our family- SO I had to untie my tubes and that of course was costly and look I now have my miracle baby….
I wish I were there – you could use all my baby stuff too!!!! I guess we just need to throw you a shower 😀
Wishing you a helathy and happy nine months!!!! Are you going to find out what your having???? It’s AWESOME not to know and just be surprised at the end… This is your miracle baby too – so just wait and see what Heavenly Father blesses you with –
    Lots of Love,
    Becki

IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT IT IS, YOU HAVE ONE OF EACH SO I CHALLENGE YOU TO NOT FIND OUT WHAT THIS ONE WILL BE.

I agree with Holly, lets have a surprise this time. I don’t know if you are up to it Andrea, but it would be fun.

Ok, anyone who knows me at all knows that I HATE secrets and I can’t keep them either. I am terrible with secrets. And…..as far as “surprises” go…..it is still a “surprise” when you find out what it is. You can have the surprise early, or you can have the surprise late……but I really feel that having the surprise early gives you a lot to look forward to and plan for. So….no, I’m not waiting. Nuh-uh.

I think you had a big enough surprise just finding out about the baby! You deserve to find out what the sex is.

Good thing you bought that van.

  5. Katie says:

I’m so excited…I agree with making it a suprise…I know it will be hard for you….you are the worst person ever for suprises….remember when we ruined Christmas?? And I know how hard it would be for you to not be able to decorate the room and get everything ready….maybe you could do a unisex room….I like that idea.

  6. Joey says:

There is no way she would not find out what the baby is. That’s like asking her not to breathe or something.

And Katie, I’m so glad we could brighten your day!

  7. Amb says:

Congrats Andrea!!! Wish I could talk Bry into a #3!! I’m so happy for you. And I totally agree – I believe this was meant to be. How exciting!

  8. Jen says:

Congrats on the new baby. I knew there was a reason I kept up with the blog. I have got to figure out family information somehow. Ethan and Baby ? will not be that far away in age. Thats cool.

  9. Sarah says:

I knew it as soon as you fell asleep during the last play! I hate to say it, but we totally told you so! Thank goodness you bought that mini van;)

  10. Holly says:

ANDREA I REALLY THOUGHT YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, WOULD BE UP FOR THE CHALLENGE OF NOT FINDING OUT THE SEX.
THE PART ABOUT THE SUGAR ON TOP DIDN’T HELP EITHER. HUH?? THEN I AM JUST GOING TO HOPE THAT LIL ONE KEEPS THE LEGS CROSSED.
    THEN WHAT, MISSY??????????????????????????
